Computing Club

Mr Forrest has started a Computing club after school each Wednesday from 15:55 until 16:55.

The club is open to all pupils in Years 9 & 10 and has already successfully launched with members being able to design and develop their own computer games, using Scratch, within the first 3 weeks.

The members are currently brainstorming an idea for a mobile app. This decision was influenced by the continuing success that Gtracks have made with Mr Johnston.

There is a demand for computer programmers in Northern Ireland and with recent investment in large IT firms in Northern Ireland, this club aims to encourage pupils to go on and study Computing at a higher level.
