Well done to the boys' U14 hockey team who travelled today to Lisnagarvey Hockey Club to take part in the John Waring All Ireland Championships.
Here the top 6 teams in Ireland played in a round robin format.
Cookstown went unbeaten in the tournament with three wins and two draws.
They beat Ulster rivals RBAI (1-0 ) and the two Munster teams: Ashton (3-0 ) and Bandon (2-0). They drew 0-0 with High School Dublin and 1-1 with the eventual winners Wesley College.
This was a great achievement for the boys and was a testament to all the hard work and effort that has been put in throughout the season by the boys and the coaches.
